Our Big Switch is FInally Done

Author: Thanks to our good friend Anarag Bhandari (creator & lead developer for Granular Linux), our big switch to our new WordPress CMS is done. Thank you Anarag, as well as to all the LGU members, & staff for being so extremely patient in all this.
I am still learning the countless abilities available, using WordPress as a CMS, so please bear with us while we begin to explore and test out different items.
Links to tie everything together will be added as time goes. From now on, to get to our community forum from this new front page, please click on the link to the right which is titled “forum”
We thank you all again for your patience, and Anarag for doing the actual, physical moving around on the server to get this thing finally done.
We hope you enjoy the new set up, and also the additional features to come.

You are always welcome guys. I always enjoy lending a helping hand to friends in need.
Anyway, you have a nice drakish theme setup for WP. It would be nice to see the theme of the forum match the theme of the front page of this site.
I would like to test WordPress as CMS with a larger site based on pages.
WordPress has a mod which will setup the backend, specifically for use as a cms.
I like using it as is, to utilize the blog function. But it still works out very nice as a central page for all things related to a community.
I still have much to do here, but plugging away at it slowly. Only thing that is non-existent this way, is a bridge so members can register here and be automagically registered across the entire domain.
