Wow, I never new Gemini added a bunch of new themes until just now. These are cool. I mostly stick with the default theme. I like the dark themes but sometimes the colors get lost like with new posts and such. And different themes seem to move buttons and options are not in the same place.
Huh, like just now with the leviathan theme, I thought I was creating a new post and I select a new poll. I'm going to have to do some experimenting.

New posts shows up very well with Leviathan, not so good with Phobos.
Helios_multi is out.
Enterprise ain't bad.
You need good vision with AA damage, not for me.

What are those, geese for new posts in Aero79? They show up very good, but it's just as bright, if not brighter as the default theme.
Classic YaBB SE ain't bad.
Babylon's cool. Too bad the gray wasn't a little darker. I think I'd use this if it were a little darker.

I was gonna use Phobos as the default but, the pages are too narrow, and if someone clicks on an image to enlarge it, you have to scroll over to see it (which I hate) Maybe one day, I will hack that theme and widen the board areas...  What's really neat about leviathan is... up in the tippity top of the right-hand corner, are buttons you can use to change the colors, and page width (but you have to set it for every page, that's the only downside) |

I like the themes, it just took a while for me to find where to change them.
Right now I'm going with Aero79.

I just looked at Aero79 again and I do like it but it's kind of too bright for me. Actually it looks like you can get it in two color if you look at the example on the theme page.
I was hoping to get a dark, but not real dark so it's easier on the eyes. But you have to give up something in return, like easy to see pinned and locked topics or new posts or a narrow view.
Levaitham floats my boat as far as color and darkness but has a narrow view.
We need Gemini to get to hacking.

You can change the width in Leviathan per page using the controls in the upper right corner... but it has to be done each time you view the page (I think)

Aw, cool Gemini, thanks. I would have never thought of looking up there. I just tested it. Set it up to my liking, closed the browser, reopened, came here and everything stayed the same like it was set.  It sticks, probably by way of setting the cookie. The neat part is there are font size setting, color setting and shrink or expand the two separate headers too.  Thank a lot. |

Just noticed that new posts with the Leviathan theme show up in a bright orange color while new posts in a child board are a much darker orange. Which means I don't have to click through two boards to see where the new posts are.
Whoo-hoo, this theme is really neat. Thanks for choosing to use it Gemini.
