Hi Guys,

While I understand the appeal of a moving gif I also hate them! The one of Luigi is unobtrusive enough not to offend, but avatars that dance and keep attracting the eye too much are just as likely to get blocked by me as too much of an intrusion. Something like rippling water I can appreciate. Over the top movement I find just too much to bear.

I really like your avatar, so I animated my tux.........but when I made him my avatar, no animation. I followed your tut on avatars and saved as animation and it works when I open it in konqueror but not in the forum, what am I missing here?

I like your animation.  It isn't too much and doesn't bother when reading a post.

The nicest one I ever saw was rain falling on a branch with green leaves. it was very understated and restful when you looked at it..
