YEP!  That's the one. Thanks.  Don't know how you found..................I NEED the PITCHERS.  Cry
I think (after an hour) I have made part 1   Grin  but something tells me it doesn't look right.  It does seem to be a well written tutorial (that's why I bookmarked it).

Maybe Jaws is already up this morning looking at them
Hmm, getting ready to crash, but these tuts look interesting. I’ll have to check them out in the morning, thanks,

and will provide the pictures for me.  Tongue

After reading through the links dubugrasu posted, I figured this is close to what the tutorial was about. Then again, it’s simply a city scene, so there’s not much you’d need a tutorial for except to explain some of the processes involved.

I know the proportions are not exact in my image, mainly so I could crank it out. I used > Tiled Clones for the windows and just duplicated them for the other buildings. The other stuff is pretty basic; moon, stars, gradients, blur. I did add some color to the buildings, than I masked the foreground building with a top layer of gray to  understate the colors and included a subtle and not so subtle message.

Cheers

Nice Jaws, that would make an awesome back drop for an animation.

Thanks guys, and good eyes Sawer. Seems easier to notice in the thumbnail than the full size image. There is another subtle message in there.

Interesting thought there Freddy. Help yourself if you have an idea.

Jaws: Here is the update to your city scape. Still need to figure out  how to get exact pixel  placement so the background doesn't move around. More to practice with.

I think this is the last post I made......way last winter.  I never could make that city scape. And I really tried hard.

This time I tried harder.  Grin
