New Site Designer ConHolster

 Ladies & Gentlemen,

 ConHolster has accepted the invitation to join the admin team as our new site-designer. 
 Con was working on a nice theme a while back to integrate very nicely with our WordPress front page.
 It will be nice to have someone who knows their way around CSS, etc. enough to create a very nice look to LGU and while I am ok with doing other various tasks associated with the "behind the scenes" stuff, I am horrible at webpage layouts.
 This is where Con comes in.

 So, please give a quick thanks to Con and let him get to work. 
 I will have you set up in a bit today Con, and Thank you.

Thanks, it's not all me though Jaws and Dadster have done some changes to the theme as well. And the theme is based on two other themes. All really did was some small changes to the template files to move the menu to the top and login below the banner.

Still gotta figure out the chat thing, a little swamped at work (again....). But I'll get on it ASAP.

hello...
i had been informed about lug relooking ad that feedback was needed
so this is mine
from an entirely graphical point of view...it looks very,very,very sad....!
we have an entirely grey screen and a banner which is very badly contrasting with the already sad grey background....
this is what my artistic perception of things is telling me
i nonetheless have a suggestion
1- put on a desk everything you need for graphics: colour crayons,paint tubes,paper sheet for drawing,rubbers,ruler,brushes,dryed flowers or leaves,ink pot,feather,...,put them in any way you wish then take a good picture of it all and use it as a background
make acqua buttons and so on that suggest water...which we need for painting
well i don't know about the penguin...if it really needs to appear on the web pages of every linux related website...
paint and draw fonts for lug...and then do whatever you please with the .com...
this is my feedback...hope you will like it

It is a cold and uninviting pallet, but it looks a million times better than the basic SMF theme.
