It's time for a face lift here on LGU. Our default theme is pretty much void of any style except for the header image. Conholster has been working on a theme for us and we're thankful for his talent but his free time is limited. So we would welcome any help in this department. We'd like to see what other themes our members have installed or created and are using now. So please post screenshots. That will give us some idea of what styles and colors you the members are partial to.
We're open to all suggestions. Our forum should look so much better than it does. It's style should reflect what LGU is all about. We need your help to get there.

For the record the darker theme that was up yesterday wasn't bad. The only issue I could see in Opera was the login text blending into the header.

I personally don't like dark themes.That being said,I also hate pink and red...I really go for natural woodsy colors,not too dark,not too light....This sounds like it will be really interesting.

Yeah Gozzin that's what we're looking for... what do the folks like.
Same thing happens in FF RJI, after logging in I get the - Your Personal Messages - Show unread... Show new - bleeds into the header image. Since we're lacking anyone that has skill in HTLM, CSS, we're stuck with it right now.
Like Dad said, we could use help getting the forum to look better.

On website/forums I prefer the midrange of colors - ie - no whites, pastels, but also no need for heavy blacks, dark grays, or dark blues. Medium Blue and Wood look nice together - just my thoughts on theme colors... (yeah I know I haven't posted much here... been playing with my new car - a beautiful 99 Nissan Maxima GXE - Pearl White with Black and Grey Cloth interior...  |

I agree with that. Also black lettering on dark gray is virtually impossible to read. The colors for lettering and numbers need to lighiter. Blue,or silver perhaps..When I first saw this theme,I was really impressed. It's a really nice color choice. |

Put white tape over the black edges. It actually makes the page seem bigger.  But seriously, it's made to mimic the WP front page and is a fixed width no matter how big or small you make your browser window. Probably could be done but Conholster has been very busy with life and such. Cheers |
