Do you need lettering in it,or just the logo someplace? If just the logo, I have an idea.....

I never really thought of if it needs the lettering or not... I don't really think so, because I've seen the logo with the text beside the logo and with the text below the logo.

I found these logos of Ark from the Internet Archive, so these should help.

I'll take a look as soon as I have access to a computer with Internet (or if I can make the link clickable on my cell phone), but looking at the URL, it's meant for Arch? It was actually an April Fools joke posted on the Arch Linux site that they were taking over Ark Linux. Arch is meant more for people who like to start with a command line and add from there what they want. Ark tries to provide tools to make things easy for Linux - and even computer - newbies while still providing stuff for developers and veterans. Because of these two very different philosophies, I don't think it possible for them to take us over. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, I just feel the need to make it clear just in case you intended the image for Arch and not Ark. People do tend to confuse us with Arch quite a bit due to the similar spelling.

No it's not...I got the name wrong is all. Ok,I edited the pic info so it now says Ark Linux. It's for you. Arch Linux would be way over my head.

Thanks for editing Just looked at the pic on my phone, looks great :p Once we get all the artwork in and figure out what the site theme will look like, I'll drop in the theme and images and you guys can send any desktop wallpapers to bero (our head developer) or post the images on our forum (or this forum and just link to the images on ours).

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the we have an IRC channel where we chat and help people out. It's been subject to a spammer I used to work with in real life, so we've been locking the channel whenever he's around, but we can "voice" legit users so they can speak when we lock the channel. We don't get many users on, but if you guys would like to discuss the Ark graphics project with our non-forum-going regulars, feel free to visit us. We are on irc.freenode.net channel #arklinux and you can get there via an IRC client or through the Live Support tab on our main site.

Hi. I've been without proper Internet for the past few days (still am), so I just thought I'd make a status request here even though it's only been a few days. I know this is a large project, so if you guys need anything from me or any of the Ark team, feel free to ask. We may even be able to copy our site if we can figure out how without ruining the database (we already have the server making weekly backups, we just need to figure out how to import the backup of the MySQL Database into the database server using a different database prefix). Our other (mostly) active site admin goes by jo-fluff. He can be found sometimes on our IRC channel and forum. He and I have very minimal experience using MySQL, so I thing with some guidance, we can pull it off.
