Xara LX uses a non standard format to store some native effect ... making it more powerfull but less flexible than other open-source tool... yet it is fast and reliable compared to some concurents on the comercial market.

 I plan on adding a board to talk about the .svg function, and trying to attract a dev or two. I started it at the original forum here

 which I plan to redo here at the new forum

 I realize some (maybe most) of what I say is not correct... but I do know the part about missing many neccassary filters in between import & export is correct.
 It will be nice to have someone who actually knows what the hell they're talking about around to make the conversation interesting and factual Cheesy
