That's it!! The diff between my art school trained mother-n-law and my drafting trained self is she draws with the perfection template (if it ain't good enough, scrap it), while I'll save it to use later. Half my hard drive is flooded with half baked trys and unfinished experiments, ooh my precious memories, my treasures, er...resources!

I'll keep all 10 - 100 versions of something I've worked on.
But I try to keep things organized in my Pictures directory by having Gimp, Inkscape, Blender, etc. directories.
I even have a Gimpscape directory.   Tongue

+1   You are right.  I never know which place to store the combined effort.  And if I am looking for said project, I always choose the wrong place first.  Roll Eyes
