Hi I was playing a little with Xara.

Although I do not have a menu I can use it with the shortcuts,
having 64bit Ubuntu now, brings new problems some programms
do not work as they should.

Drawing relaxes a bit, hope my flower brings a smile.

Regards,
Jan

That's very nice, Jan!

I haven't used Xara, but I see it's in Mint's Software Manager.  Might give it a try.

That is a great drawing, Jan. Relaxing and smiling are good.

Is Xara making any headway on Linux or are the new releases Windows only?

Hi,

Xara on Linux is pretty much without support.
I have lost the menu since I am on Ubuntu 11.04 but I can manage
with shortcuts.
I bought Xara pro on Windows and there is a big difference, it has
grown into a professional programm, such a shame that is hardly
supported on linux.

It is the userinterface that brings me back to Xara, compared to Inkscape
it is much better although I like inkscape very very much.

Thanks for the comments.
Kind regards,
Jan
