Hi all,

I wonder what has happened, there are hardly any new threads and activity has stalled.

Is something wrong?

Kind regards,
Jan

  Hi Jan,

Don't know about the rest here but I'm so busy taking care of family and health issues.  It's a shame things here haven't taken off the way I hoped they would.

I thought at one point the forum would carry itself but now see there is not enough traffic to do so.   If you have any ideas on how to perk things up, please let me know.

I hope so as well. I'm always sending people over here..They are mainly Mac or Windows users who want to check out the GImp..Some end up yanking their hear out in frustration though.

Hi,

I do not understand, Gimp is not any more difficult then Photoshop.
I have trained some customers to enhance photo's in Gimp with
scaling, curves for contrast etc.

The thing to do, is to write a small manual for one task at a time,
and show them every now and then what one can do more, then they
start asking for more.

Kind regards,
Jan

I think that's it... we all have families and work.... and not much time for other things.....

I try to get over here weekly, but I don't always make it....

Yeah, been too busy. My blog seems to get my attention and Linked-in Gnome group when I take a breather. Just reorganized my mancave art studio, removed Ubuntu for Mint, looking for work and doing some non-digital art. Family stuff is endless this time of year.
