By chance, anyone have the PCLOS RPM of Inkscape v0.45.1.

If not, I'd settle for the v0.45, thanks.

Cheers

You want to downgrade because of the broken filters?

Did you ever get a response as to why the package request wasn't granted and the current version fixed?

Yes. I used the v0.45 effects a lot that don't work with v0.46, plus I don't really use the new stuff that's included in v0.46. To tell the truth, I was just getting used to knowing, somewhat, how to use the tools available in v0.45. Not that I wouldn't use the v0.46 tools, eventually when I got more experience, but the tradeoff isn't worth it to me.

No, I understand the developers are overworked and understaffed and pestering them is not my style. They'll get to it when they get to it.

I had the same feeling with 0.46 and went back to 0.45 But, I used autopackage and can't seem to get into the website at the moment.
I had noticed that anything prior to 0.46 was scrubbed from the PCLOS repos but, I'll talk to a couple folks to see if I can't get it dug up somewhere for ya Smiley

OK, I asked the one person I know would be able to provide the file if it was still in existence , but sad to say, as he mentions, PCLOS is a "rolling distro" so only the most up to date packages are avail and the rest discarded. Sorry

You can however try this autopackage install. I have used it in the past and it worked great on my PCLOS install.

If you have any problems or questions, let me know.... Please be sure to read everything first. Grab the inkscape autoackage, but read everything from the home page on so you understand how it works.

 Good Luck
