Nice work, Mee Maw. The combination of Inkscape and Gimp can create some impressive results. Keep up the good work!

Very nice MeeMaw.... I especially love the layout You may quickly exceed me.. would you believe I still have yet to grasp Gimp? I've not played with it much or read any tutes but I hope to eventually. I find my time mostly within Xara, InkScape & Blender. I'm ok with the first two, and still just getting into Blender for animation.... once I am comfortable enough with Blender, Gimp is the next target
Nice job, you're doing great... keep it up

Thanks a lot, but I very much doubt that!!!!! Everyone here is so good! I've seen some really good graphics and I have no idea how to make them....... and I'm not really comfortable with any of the programs yet! I'm just playing around until I figure out what everything does and how to get what I want..... (baby steps!)

Very cool MM,
Just keep building on your base of knowledge, getting good and comfortable with it and adding more when the time is right.
Cheers

Blasted Developers! If only they were all graphics users . . . I agree...I'll be using the smudge tool in the Gump and suddenly realize Id' like to be able to just dab up a bit of the background with said tool and dab it elsewhere, but noooooo! Can't do that. VERY cool,MeeMaw! Also like blue

I agree...I'll be using the smudge tool in the Gump and suddenly realize Id' like to be able to just dab up a bit of the background with said tool and dab it elsewhere You can use the clone tool to paint surfaces with another part of the same image. I frequently find this useful for eliminating unwanted things in the background of an image. You can of course, also use the eye-dropper to pick up just the color of part of the image and use it as a new foreground color. I'm not sure if that exactly fits your need here or not.
