Could there be a place to share textures?

Would be nice to have a texture dump...be it made from scratch or taken with a camera, that would be "up for grabs" and free of restrictions for everyone to share.

I know I have a bunch I'm willing to share.

Sometimes people don't have burning ideas, or need a nudge.
What about setting up a contest where people can post images that relate to a theme/subject/medium/use?
Then allow forum-goers to vote on their favorite.
Would be handy if there was a reward of some sort (even a page that displays the "winners" or a prominent location on the forum).
