I am an amateur brewer.  Actually, I don't consider myself much of a brewer because I get the hops and stuff mixed in a syrup from Mr Beer then I flavor it into such brews as Apple, Pumpkin or Christmas ale.

Each time I brew a batch, though, I design a label which I print onto mailing labels and stick on the bottles.  The brew is not sold, or in any other way commercialized yet I usually give away more than I drink and people have come to enjoy getting them with their labels and pictures.

Currently I have finished a blueberry brew and it's time to design the labels.  I thought this may be a fun opportunity to see what somebody else comes up with for a logo-picture.

So far my logos have been oval in shape, incorporates my name and the beer title curved on the outsides.  This I do in Inkscape. Attached is a sample of my last Christmas Ale (Don't Open Until ... Christmas Ale) to give you an idea of a logo I am looking for.

"Drew's Brew" is my own "brand name" of sorts, it's what I call my beers and then the other half is specific to the beer.

Any logo that is accepted I will include whatever information you want with the picture to give credit where credit is due.

While this beer is a blueberry brew, I am not sure what name to give it.  The recipe I got it from calls it "Blue Lightening" but I am willing to look into some other fun name (blueberry burst? blueberry bash? blueballs bereavement? big-'ol-blueberry? whatever!)  Let the concepts fly! Smiley

I usually use Inkscape, Photoshop and MS Publisher but since the Windows machine just crapped the bed I'm looking at Inkscape, Gimp or Krita and Scribus or OpenOffice.org.
