If I may ask... How did you hear about the LGU forum?

I was looking for an inkscape shape heart and I don't remember how I read this thread:
http://linuxgraphicsusers.com/index.php?topic=306.0

Actually, I think this was the original heart image:

These are really rough so don't judge 'em on that. The idea, colors, let me know if it works for you. Everything can be modified.

Man it's tough to get something to look good at 24x24.  Here's a couple that are larger.

I think it's a tough one, and hope that time is allowed to come up with a really good logo...
Here, we have 3 elements to incorperate within a very tiny space/field

 imagination
 DVD
 slideshow
... all within a 24px X 24px icon Tongue

A logo can be created, but I am hoping that temp-user realizes that this process takes time to get just the right look. The ideas from the artist's minds will change and develop along the way over time... and no sense in rushing the matter Wink Grin

I thank you all from the very heart for the kind contributions you are giving here. I really appreciated the time and efforts you are taking in giving Imagination a brand new logo. I will wait, I agree that "Patience brings quality".

Thanks,
Giuseppe

Thank you for your contribution. Can you please resize it to 48x48 and 24x24 ?

Thanks,
Giuseppe

Giuseppe

Perhaps a little more feedback to the images posted would be appropriate. Chances are that a logo is not going to be created and accepted on the first try.

Maybe if an image just peeks your interest a little, there could be modifications made to bring it more in line to what you desire.

You are right. I thought to hurt the feelings of the ones who contributed whose logo I didn't, ehm, I didn't, mmm I didn't like too much Smiley

I like the logos of Dadster and Gemini. Would be possible to adjust the colors of both ones please?

No worries.

Hopefully we can get more people involved with this thread. Wink

I'm sure there are more ideas out there from our users. A few talented folks are missing in action and I'm sure they'll be along to contribute.

Feelings...? Roll Eyes I think I remember that song....   Cheesy

No worries Giuseppe, most of us here are too road-worn to have anymore feelings Wink

I can modify the colors for the icon I did, just give the colors or their scales and I'll make the changes.

Just wanted to add this. A change of course and something I was thinking of originally.
