On another note, it seems like this image is a little rough, like it's pixelated from being stretched too thin or something.  Did you make it at a smaller size and enlarge it?

No. It is a combination of filters and a gradient that I made. I have a lighter version that I am experimenting with. I haven't figured everything out yet but I am trying. Thanks for the feedback.
