New logo for website on Norse mythology

Someone made this logo for me about a year back, and I`m not that happy with it. You can barely see the text on the right side, but apart from that it`s ok.

Think you can do better? Let me know. It is a quite popular page in its genre in Norway, so quite a few people will see your artwork.

A logo should have approximately the same size as the current one, it should only contain colors you can find in nature, and it should look "low tech".

If one can incorporate an image of one or more of the Norse gods in the logo, that would be great. See for instance:

Just a little thing. Would it be possible to use a Norwegian ø instead of the o? "Norrøn mytologi" is the correct Norwegian spelling. The site was registered many years ago, before you could use Æ, Ø and Å in URLs, so that is why I had to call it "norron-mytologi".

Yes, it is pronounced as an ö - it is really the same.

Love the new header, Con and Hallivor!  Shows all the might of the Gods as I would imagine them.  Such drama!
