I just noticed something. We got a favicon!

I was reading a post on another forum where a person was having problems with the forum itself so I figured I'd try and get the show unread posts to work again. Yeah, I know I said I wouldn't mention it.

Anyway I nuked all the cookies that had to do with the forum, cleared the browser history and also deleted the bookmark. I'm thinking the bookmark may have something to do with it since the one a had, had a long string of characters after the site name. That's when I noticed the favicon.

I'll see if it works after someone posts something.

Anyway, cheers on the favicon. I like it.

The palette icon, is that what we mean?

I like it!  But I didn't have to do anything, it was just there.

Woohoo, this may be it fellas. Show unread seems to be working at last.

@ Lunoob, yes the palette icon. Maybe you did a update favicon or added the bookmark after it was set.

Cheers

I cannot see the favicon, no matter what I try.

I have deleted cookies and temp files in Firefox 3.0.6 [in ArtistX 0.6]. I have used 'Gnome Web Browser 2.24.1' and Konqueror, and all I can see is a round ball with some markings in the top-right hand quarter, that is common to many web sites.

Do others see the favicon? What else can I do to make it show for me?

Paul, give it a try now.
For some reason the favicon was not working (maybe due to the pages switch earlier)
But, I just reset the favicon image, so... it should be there now Wink

Yes, that's fixed the problem. All's well now, thanks! I actually noticed before reading your post here.

Good work. I should have remembered that you had a favicon here, as I looked at it when working on the favicon for Linux Internationals forum.
