Those of you who remember me from the Klikit forum know I sometimes have serious problems with...Software..Well,with Klikit anyway.
The other day I had another problem...I had a head on battle with your registration process when you had your big upgrade.
Tried to log in,it clames, incorrectly that user name/password were incorrect..I thought I'd made a typo, but nope,it happened again and again when I tried to log in even though I still had the same old user name and password I'd had since I arrived here.
My password was reset,didn't work.
It said no such password. When I tried to get another one,it said no such e mail.
I kept trying and got yet another problem.
It said the passwords did not match, even though I copy/pasted them...
I emptied the cache,etc...That didn't work.
it would not accept the passwords.
I tried to reregester as another user, that didn't work. It told me passwords did not match.
I think the only reason I got in is cause Jaws had signed in as me.
I father no one else had any problems, did they...

Seems very odd indeed Gozzin... I will try to keep an eye for any issues.
If anyone else is having the same problem... please be sure to post here, Thanks

I will run your post by the smf forum and see if anyone recognizes these issues.

I've found the main site now has a login section and this differs from the forums. I had to register for the main site and then when I got in I found the forums again requesting login, the old login I already had.

Yes, I had mentioned that the two are not integrated, as far as login goes.
That requires the use of a bridge, and the bridge for smf/wp is discontinued

This is all still new, and I am new to it all so it will take time for me to get it all groovin' better. It is all a matter of when, not if.

Meanwhile, I'm going to just click on the 'Forum' button at the upper right as I've been doing since the change, and cross my fingers (to lazy/busy to bother with changing my FF LGU bookmark.)  I haven't had a problem at all, so far.   Smiley

It works fine that way. Signing up for the WordPress front is not mandatory (but needed to comment on any articles.. which I will be getting to soon, I have just been very busy)
The front is just to give a nicer look and place to centralize all our link & pages, which will be coming soon. I have a lot to learn with WP and it's capabilities.
