 KSplasher is a KDE Moodin Engine Splash Screen Editor and Creator  (built by: XaniloM http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/search.php?username=XaniloM)

Create your own Splash Screens or edit existing ones.

Creates a preview.png eliminating the need to run under virtual machine for a snapshot!

Made with python+pygame. PIL (python-imaging) needed for saving PNG.

The new logo made by Divilinux.

 I have just tried this for the first time... and it's great! Grin
 Now all we need is "KLogin" creator / editor Wink

 I think this app. is great enough to be mentioned in both places to ensure a higher rate of exposure.
