Pencil 4.4b help

If there is anyone that can help with getting 4.4b to configure for linux it would be nice. I'm not much of a hacker so I get lost easily, there isn't a ./configure file so i don't were to go without it. I've tried the qt thingy without much luck. I've also tried Bitrock no luck there. This is a real nice program if we can et it to work.
Thanks Sawer

Hey Sawer,
I wish I could help. I just went to my distro's repositories and they don't have pencil there. I couldn't hack my way out of a paper bag, so no help there either.
Hopefully a member or two will be able to help out when the community gets a little bigger, because this would seem like the perfect reason this forum was created.
Cheers

As far as the 4.3 package that is available at the homepage, on debian lenny/sid what I did was:
install the pencil deb file
install libqt4-opengl
works great....now if I only had some skill

Try the "bouncing ball" tutorial on the home page (if you want that is)
And share with us if you are able to get it
I have yet to try this app out but it looks like it would be great fun
