I'm trying to make a quick animation in Blender.
But when I try to constrain the camera to the object, the object breaks apart in pieces.

before constraints

after constraints

What I am trying to do is: link all the parts in the object together, to make it one object.

select all the parts you want to be one whole, then hit "Ctrl + j" to join them as one.

Alternately:

Select object 1 > shift + select object 2 > ctrl + p

This will parent object 1 to object 2.  Repeat until all of your meshes are parented to object 2 then add your constraint to object 2

Nice Tie fighter, btw.

The tiefighter isn't mine. I got it at planit3d.com
I needed a model for showing a friend how do camera constraints.
