Agreed. Vid tuts take a lot of time and effort, and then, more time and effort. A good written tut is better than a bad vid tut.

I agre with rji and jaws, would be great if you lend us, simple 2D-artists some of your knowledge about blender.  Cheesy

I'm working on a screen-shot type tutorial on making the blocks. When I am done with the first step I will post it, but don't expect too much 'cause i've never done a tutorial before. Grin

I like it.   Can you do a spot light version.  I would love to see
it with a high contrast, or with emphasis on one block.  Does
this program do this.  I have never used it.  Can you control the
lighting I assume you can.
